Birth*Elizabeth, daughter of Lt Col. John B. McClelland and Martha Dale, was born in 1764 in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania. Citation is very weak.1 
Marriage*She married Peter Starkey before 1788 in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania. I find no primary evidence for the following alleged children: David (a1788-a1850), Anna (1792-b1840, m. Joshua Shreve), Andrew (1794-1871), Jesse (c1795-1839), Jane (c1804- , m. Peter Garrison), Rachel (1804- , m. John England), John (1805-1888), Elizabeth (1810-1855, m. James Spenny) and Cynthia (1811-1853, m. John Hart).
     Randolph claims a marriage year of 1795 which doesn't work if the birthyears of many of the children are correct. 'Before 1788' may be close.
     A.J. Crow's Starkey Archives entry claims confirms Elizabeth's given name only.
     FS's Partner Trees: RootsFinder (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:3:MMN3-7ZL) claims 1797 in Somerset, PA, but as usual without citation and, as above, the date doesn't really work.
     I previously showed a daughter Elizabeth who m. John Myers but, since demise of STARKEY-L I'm unable to find corroborating evidence.
     Other issue alleged by FSTrees include William, Catherine.2,1 
Residence*Elizabeth and Peter resided in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania, on 28 December 1801.2 
Death*Elizabeth died after 1 March 1850 in Perry Co., Ohio.3

Census1810Samuel Emanuel appeared on the 1810 Federal Census of Union Twp., Fayette Co., Pennsylvania, with a household listed as 3101-21011 as 26-44 you Samuel McClelland. A perfect enumeration given the 'circa' birthyears. The extra female >45 may well be Sam's mother, Martha Dale.5 
Census1820Samuel Emanuel appeared on the 1820 Federal Census of Indiana Twp., Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania, with a household listed as 110001-31111 as >45 yo Samuel McClelland. An imperfect enumeration but the three daughters <10 yo clinch this one for me. Sons Sam & Thomas are missing. The daughter 10-15 could be Jane or Sarah. Andrew is younger than we had previously believed.6 
Census1830*Samuel Emanuel appeared on the 1830 Federal Census of Baughman, Wayne Co., Ohio, with a household listed as 00001001-00112 as 50-59 yo Samuel McClelland Sr. Wife Eleanor has died. Sarah may be one bracket too old depending on enumeration date. The daughter 10-14 could be Eleanor or Eliza Ann. Sons Samuel Jr. and Andrew live in the two adjacent households.2 
Estate-Will*Samuel Emanuel McClelland Sr. left a will dated 5 October 1838 at Baughman Twp., Wayne Co., Ohio, naming Smith Orr and Benjamin Bailey his executors. He made heirs of his ten living children, namely Jane, Sarah, Martha, Mary, Thomas, Samuel, John, Nancy, Eleanor and Eliza. The children of his deceased son Andrew were given a share equal to his other children.7,8 
Death*Samuel died from 5 October 1838 to 20 October 1838 in Baughman, Wayne Co., Ohio. Randolph claims 08 Jun 1839 but that doesn't work with probate date.7,1 
Estate-Probate*Samuel's will was probated at Wayne Co., Ohio, on 20 October 1838.7

Charles is definitely one bracket too young, Margaret may be one too young. The four children are perfect. The extra female >45 may be Charles's mother Martha Dale. Charles's brother Sam is on the same census sheet.5 
Census1850*Charles and Margaret appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Sugarcreek Twp., Wayne Co., Ohio, enumerated 9 August 1850, as 95 yo (as indexed) farmer Charles & 68 yo Margaret McClelland. Their children Emanuel and Margaret were listed as living with them. Charles is indexed as age 95 but it's clearly 75 in the enumeration. Another in the household, currently unidentified, is 16 yo Christopher McClelland. Next door is 40 yo son Abraham McClelland with his family. Next to Abraham is son Joseph and his family.3

Marriage*She married Hugh Andrew McClelland, son of Lt Col. John B. McClelland and Martha Dale, in 1779 in Pennsylvania. Randolph gives bride's name as Elizabeth Watson, but Young's deed clearly shows Hugh's wife as Charlotte. Young's information suggests Elizabeth's father John may have m1 Elizabeth Watson. Very confused.
Hugh & Charlotte may have had a son Hugh, born in Pennsylvania, and others born in Ohio.1,2

     1. Aaron Bartlett (1779-1873, s/o Aaron1 & Joanna Perkins Bartlett, h/o Charlotte Webber and Rhoda Warner), TMG no. 4676, hereinafter "Aaron1". This Aaron is the focus person of Nellie Bartlett's book, "Aaron Bartlett of Brookfield, revolutionary soldier...".
     2. Aaron Bartlett (1787-1870, s/o Aaron & Anna Lathrop Bartlett, son of Aaron4), TMG no. 4677, hereinafter "Aaron2".

The first problem is they currently (21 Feb 2025) have the same Find A Grave memorial. Specifically Aaron2 is linked to the wrong memorial. It makes the following claims without a headstone photo for corroboration:
     Aaron Bartlett, memorial no. 124232069; born 14 May 1787 in Granby, Hampshire, MA; died 15 Sept 1870 in same; buried West Street Cemetery in same. Parents Aaron and Joanna, though the text says Aaron & Anna Lathrop Bartlett. Spouses Charlotte Webber (1785-1859) & Rhoda Warner (1809-1885) and a link to one son, Lawrence Shuler Bartlett (1814-1902).4,5
 
Birth*Aaron, son of Cpl. Aaron Bartlett and Joanna Perkins, was born in 1779. He was listed third by sister Nancy Simpson as one of the six siblings older than herself.
     Arron is the subject person of Nellie Bartlett's book "Aaron Bartlett of Brookfield, revolutionary soldier...". On p. 15 she says he was born 1779.
     Find A Grave says 14 May 1787 in Granby, Hampshire, MA, but without a headstone for confirmation.2,3 
Census1790Aaron is probably one of the three males under age 16 listed in the household of Cpl. Aaron Bartlett, in the 1790 Federal Census of Salem, Washington Co., New York.6,7 
Marriage*He married Charlotte Webber before 1814, date based on birthyear of eldest child listed by Find A Grave.
     "Aaron of Brookfield" says their children were Solomon, Ransom, Shuler, Loomis, Salicia, Eliza and Russell Bartlett. The order appears to be random.
     Solomon (perhaps 1808-1893) may have married Sallie B Enches and had issue Corrin M, Benjamn F, DeEttie Hortensia and Lottie Bartlett. The 1850-1880 censuses support these names.
     Loomis Bartlett (1807-1865, m1 Polly Berry; had Susan; m2 Celinda Berry; had Wallace, Nellie, Jennie and Lester).
     Eliza(beth) Bartlett (1811-1882, m. Sylvester Osborn; had Owen, Jerome, Charlotte, Frank, Orcilla, Mary, Oliva and Sarah).
     Cecilia/Salicia Bartlett (1813-1875, m. Thos Bissell; had Dall, Fanny, James, Salicia, Artemsia and Mary).
     Lawrence Shuler Bartlett (1814-1902, b. NY; m1 Julia Grover 1839; had Byron, Lucy, Wright and Seth; m2 Allie Moore 1887).
     Russel Dwight "Rush" Bartlett (1818-1912, b. NY; m1 Jeanette Lnu; had Henry, Will; m2 Sarah Lnu; had Fred & Genevieve "Jennie"). Russell and brother Ransom appear together, with Russell as HOH, in the 1860 thru 1900 censuses.
     Ransom Bartlett (1822-1893, m. Sophia Thompson 1853; had Francis, Mary, Nellie, Paul and Lee).8,9,10,11,4 
Census1860Aaron appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Poland, Chautauqua Co., New York, as 78 yo shoemaker Aaron Bartlett in the household of Ephram Devonport.12 
Census1850*Aaron and Charlotte appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Freehold Twp., Warren Co., Pennsylvania, as 69 yo Aaron & 65 yo Charlott Bartlett in the household of (their son and daughter-in-law) 42 yo Solomen & 25 yo Sally B Bartlett. Others in the home were Sol & Sally's children 4 yo Corin M and 2 yo Benjamin F Bartlett.13 
Census1870*Aaron appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Pleasant Twp., Warren Co., Pennsylvania, as 91 yo retired shoemaker Aaron Bartlett in the household of (his son & daughter-in-law) 53 yo Rush & 35 yo Sarah Bartlett.14 
Death*Aaron died in 1873 in Warren Co., Pennsylvania. "Aaron of Brookfield", p. 15, says died 1873 in Warren, PA. He does not appear to be the person with Find A Grave memorial no. 124232069.2

Occupation*Alfred was general manager of Austin Gas Light Co on 12 September 1918 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas. His wife Mrs. Norine B Knies is listed on his WWI draft card as nearest relative.7

Marriage*She married Rev. Benjamin Courson before 1761. Our Family Tree shows this as a first marriage and claims Fnu Lnu is the mother of Catherine, not Sarah Dungan. Their chldren likely included John, Catherine, Charity, Isaac, Jannetie, and Benjamin Jr., or so says Find A Grave.1,2
