Move*	Enoch moved his residence from Newton to Bethel, Maine, on the Androscoggin River between 1779 and 1781, along with his brothers Jonathan, Thaddeus, Moses, Stephen and Peregrine.8,9
Census1810	Enoch appeared on the 1810 Federal Census of Newry, Oxford Co., Maine, with a household listed as 11001-42010 as 45+ yo male Enoch Bartlett.10
Marriage*	His second marriage was to Fnu House before 1811 at Bethel, Oxford Co., District of Maine, date based on birthyear of son Enoch (Jr.) County is possbily York depending on exactly when the marriage took place. Oxford formed from York & Cumberland Cos in 1805. Bethel appears to be in the area that was once York County.11
Death*	Enoch died circa 5 October 1825 in Newry, Oxford Co., Maine. Hibner's date is ca. 23 Oct but his death was reported in Columbia Centinel on 05 Oct.12,11

Birth*	Nicholas, son of John Bartlett and Patience Lnu, was born in Newton, Middlesex Co., Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England. Hibner& NEHGA list no date but show Newton. FamilySearch's Massachusetts, Town Clerk, Vital and Town Records, 1626-2001 dB claims 1711 but the attached document does not support it. MA Births & Christenings has an entry with date 1724 but that makes no sense given his marriage date. Perhaps this Nicholas died young and the 1724 birth was his namesake brother.2,3,4
Marriage*	He married Mary Elizabeth Cook on 17 April 1733 in Newton, Middlesex Co., Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England, NEHGS, Hibner and Early say 1733. The handwritten record at Town Clerk, while a bit ambiguous, suggests 1732.5,6,7,2
Marriage*	His second marriage was to Elizabeth Lnu, daughter of Mary Elizabeth Cook, from 15 June 1736 to 17 November 1737, date based on birthyears of children either side. Likely date is ca. Feb 1737.      This second marriage for Nicholas is a bit confused. Nick's FamilySearch Trees (LZK3-K5Z) entry shows an m2 before 1737 to Elisabeth Garrett. There's a good string of birth records for Nick's children, viz. Mary, John, Samuel, Elizabeth, Samuel, Thomas and Sarah Bartlett. In the first two Nick's wife's name is Mary. In the next four it's Elizabeth. In the last one it's Mary again. I've seen nothing to indicate a third marriage for Nicholas. So either, a) he had just one wife, Mary Elizabeth Cook(e), or b) the last birth record is in error, or c) Elizabeth's first or middle name was Mary.8,1
LandDeal*	Nicholas Bartlett sold 40 acres in Groton to Caleb Bartlett on 23 November 1742. Nicholas is called husbandman of Groton, Caleb is a cordwainer of Marlborough.9
Death*	Nicholas died on 16 March 1743/44 in Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England.10

Marriage*	His first marriage was to Sarah Thompson on 12 January 1733/34 at Brookfield, Worcester Co., Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England.4
Occupation*	Nathaniel was a wheelwright in 1737.4
Marriage*	His second marriage was to Dorothy Hubbard on 5 July 1750. Dorothy was the widow of Ebenezer Harwood who was killed 1745 at the first capture of the fortress at Louisberg.4
Milit-Service*	Nathaniel Bartlett served with Capt. Nathaniel Woolcott's Company during the French & Indian War in 1757. Woolcott's troops marched to the relief of Fort William McHenry after it had been captured by French Gen. Louis-Joseph de Montcalm. The company was out 16 days. Hibner writes, "In the same company was Joseph Bartlett, Aaron Bartlett, Matthew Bartlett and Adoniram Bartlett, all sons of Thomas Bartlett and cousins of Nathaniel".4
Census1790*	Nathaniel appeared on the 1790 Federal Census of Brookfield, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, with a household listed as 1-0-3 as 16+ yo Nathaniel Bartlett. At this point I've no idea who the three females might be.      Hibner lists the enumeration as 1-0-2. The only Nathaniel Bartlett in the northeast with a 1-0-2 was in Winchester, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire. I don't this that's the correct person.5,4
Death*	Nathaniel died after 1789, date based on Nathaniel showing up in the 1790 census with a family of 1-0-2.4
