Birth*Eva, daughter of Thomas Williams and Ethel W. Hutchinson, was born in September 1897 in Missouri. Nickname Ethel based on the 1900 census in which she's enumerated as 2 yo niece Ethel Bartlett. It's the fact that 'Ethel' is 2 yo in the 1900 and Eva is 12 yo daughter in the 1910 that force me to conclude they were the same person and a daughter, rather than niece, of Irving & Ethel.1
Census1900Eva appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Denver, Arapahoe (now Denver) Co., Colorado in the household of her parents, Irving William Bartlett Sr. and Ethel W. Hutchinson, as 2 yo niece Ethel Bartlett.1

Census1940Eva and Harold appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Longmont, Boulder Co., Colorado, at 319 Lincoln, enumerated 13 April 1940, as 48 yo jeweler Harold I & 42 yo jewelry saleslady wife Eva D Rosencrans. Their 15 yo son Harold I Rosencrans Jr was listed as living with them.5

Birth*Lyman, son of Rev. William Wilcox and Julia Elma Bartlett, was born on 25 June 1845 in Shelburne Falls, Franklin Co., Massachusetts.5,2
Census1850Lyman appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Jamaica, Windham Co., Vermont in the household of his parents, Rev. William Wilcox and Julia Elma Bartlett, as 5 yo Lyman B Wilcox.2
Marriage*His first marriage was to Elizabeth Ross on 25 June 1874. My preliminary research suggests their children were Julia Elma Wilcox (1875-1934, m. William Patten; res. Sumas, WA 1926; obits available at Newspapers.com) and William Wilcox (c1877- , res. East Jordan, MI 1926).6
Estate-WillLyman was named an heir in the will of Julia Elma Bartlett, his mother, dated 20 May 1878 at Deerfield, Franklin Co., Massachusetts, receiving one-half of her estate from which her executors were to purchase him a place to live and to provide him with an income. The implication is that Lyman was somehow at least partially diabled.7
Census1880*Lyman appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Elgin Ward 5, Kane Co., Illinois, enumerated 15 June 1880, as 34 yo carpenter L B Wilcox. His children 4 yo Alma and 3 yo William Wilcox were listed as living with him.8
Marriage*His second marriage was to Mary Jane "Jennie" Beith in 1882 at Kane Co., Illinois. My preliminary research suggests their children were Sarah Louise Wilcox (1883-1964, m1 Stephen Beebe 1903, m2 Frank Vergal Wales 1918; res. East Jordan, MI 1926; obit at Petoskey News-Review, 11 Feb 1964), Mary B Wilcox (1885-1927, m. Ernest Benjamin Ross; res. Elgin 1926), Jennie Wilcox (1887-1966, m. Frank Thomas McHugh ca 1906; res. Rockford 1926), and Mabel Wilcox (1890-1915, m. Ernest Wermuth 1911).
     Jennie's 1900 census entry shows married 18 years with 4 born and 4 living.1,9
Census1900*Lyman and Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Hanover Twp., Cook Co., Illinois, enumerated 16 June 1900, as 54 yo farmer Lyman & 46 yo wife Jennie Wilcox. Their children 16 yo Sarah, 14 yo Mary, 13 yo Jennie and 9 yo Mabel Wilcox were listed as living with them, as well as two boarders.9
Census1910Lyman and Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Elgin Twp., Kane Co., Illinois, enumerated 11 May 1910, as 66 yo dairy farmer Lyman B & 57 yo wife Jennie Wilcox. Their children 26 yo widowed daughter Sarah Beebe, 19 yo daughter Mabel and 32 yo dairy farm laborer son William Wilcox were listed as living with them, as well as Sarah's 2 yo daughter Baby Beebe, and one hired hand.10
Death*Lyman died on 13 January 1919 in ½ mile east of Dundee, Kane Co., Illinois, at age 73, of heart failure.11,5,12
Burial*He was buried at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, Cook & Kane Cos., Illinois. Find A Grave provides photo of joint headstone with wife Mary Jane. There's also an obit, unavailable at Find A Grave as of Nov 2024. It's more or less readable under magnification.13
ResearchNote*Research Note of 18 November 2024 re another Lyman B Wilcox. See Find A Grave memorial no. 64320661. He lived 1845-1875, had issue Ethel & Lyman. His wife in the 1870 census of New Britain, CT, is named Adeline.

ResearchNote*Research Note of 20 November 2024 re William's middle name and difficulty separating him from other William F Wilcoxes.
His middle name variously Fenlon, Freeman and Freedom.
The William F who m. Mary Barbara Cunningham in 1901 is someone else.3

Birth*William, son of Rev. William Wilcox and Julia Elma Bartlett, was born on 18 February 1847 in Colrain, Franklin Co., Massachusetts.4,1
Census1850William appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Jamaica, Windham Co., Vermont in the household of his parents, Rev. William Wilcox and Julia Elma Bartlett, as 3 yo William F Wilcox.1
Death*William died before 13 July 1860, date based on his absence in the 1860 census when he'd have been only 13 yo. I feel the death record at FamilySearch's Vermont Vital Records, 1760-1954 database is likely this man, even though his mother's maiden name is listed as Byrne. See source citations.5,6

Birth*William, son of John Pease Jr. and Louisa Bartlett, was born on 8 July 1831 in Utica, Oneida Co., New York.2,3
Census1840William is probably the male age 5 to 9 listed in the household of his father, John Pease Jr., in the 1840 Federal Census of Utica, Oneida Co., New York.4
Census1850William appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Utica, Oneida Co., New York in the household of his father, John Pease Jr., as 18 yo clerk Wm R Pease.5
Education*He was a student the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1855.6
Milit-Service*Bvt. Brig. Gen. William Russell Pease served with William's military career was a start and stop affair with service over several time intervals. Best to read the bio info attached to his "20535" Find A Grave memorial. Odd as it seems he actually was out of the service at the time of the 1850-60 censuses, but in service between the enumerations between 1855 and 1867.7,8,6
Marriage*He married Rowena Pease on 12 March 1860 in Connecticut. My preliminary research suggests their children were Helen Rowena Pease (1860-1862, Find A Grave's dates are a mess) and Frances Louisa Pease (1863-1868, Find A Grave's dates are a mess).
Rowena's death notice in the Brooklyn Eagle calls her "wife of General W. R. Pease U.S.A."
William may have remarried after Rowena's death. His military bio in Find A Grave no. 193094271 says his military pension was paid to his wife Francis who died in 1938, aged 92 years. I find no record of this marriage.9,10,11

Death*William died on 7 June 1895 in Wallingford, New Haven Co., Connecticut, at age 63.3,2
Burial*He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica, Oneida Co., New York. Find A Grave (Memorial 193094271) provides no headstone photo but does include portrait photo and an uncited military history. His other memorial (no. 20535) does provide a headstone photo as well as two portraits and a little bio.2,3
