Elizabeth Lnu1
F, #11276
Birth* | Elizabeth, daughter of Mary Elizabeth Cook, was born. Her surname according to son Samuel's Find A Grave memorial was Garrett.3 |
Marriage* | She married Nicholas Bartlett, son of John Bartlett and Patience Lnu, from 15 June 1736 to 17 November 1737, date based on birthyears of children either side. Likely date is ca. Feb 1737. This second marriage for Nicholas is a bit confused. Nick's FamilySearch Trees (LZK3-K5Z) entry shows an m2 before 1737 to Elisabeth Garrett. There's a good string of birth records for Nick's children, viz. Mary, John, Samuel, Elizabeth, Samuel, Thomas and Sarah Bartlett. In the first two Nick's wife's name is Mary. In the next four it's Elizabeth. In the last one it's Mary again. I've seen nothing to indicate a third marriage for Nicholas. So either, a) he had just one wife, Mary Elizabeth Cook(e), or b) the last birth record is in error, or c) Elizabeth's first or middle name was Mary.1,4 |
