Birth*Reuben was born. Hibner gives his surname as Old (Olds) with all his children's surnames being Olds.1 
Marr-Banns*Marriage record of Reuben Old and Mary Rice was published in October 1754. Hibner writes, "The Rice Family says she married Jonathan Walker, but this would appear to be in error".2,1 
Milit-Service*Reuben Old served with Capt. Jabez Upham's Company during the French & Indian War 1757. Hibner writes, "He was also on the muster roll of Capt. Sylvanus Walker's Company, out from May 15 to Dec. 27, 1759, on the Crown Point expedition".1 
Death*Reuben died after 1759. He may have moved to Sturbridge, MA.1

MA Town Clerk, Middlesex Marriage Records, has an entry for Ephraim Rice and Mary Battle Dedhem (indexed just Mary Battle) for this exact same date in Middlesex County. Other sources confirm Ephraim's wife's first name as Thankful, but this marriage date is now suspect.2,1,3 
Death*Thankful died on 5 November 1761 in Brookfield, Worcester Co., Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England. Ward says she died in Brookfield leaving two children.2,1
