Birth*	William, son of James Addison Blair and Mahalia Allowyne Elliott, was born on 18 January 1886. Find A Grave's date is 18 Jan 1886 taken from his headstone as is his WWI draft card. His death certificate says 14 Jan 1887 with his son J Addison Blair as informant. His WWII draft says 14 Jan 1886. The 1900 says he's 13 yo but born in 1877 so clearly a contradiction.2,6,7

Marriage*	His second marriage was to Nancy Maud Belton on 30 April 1915 at Danville, Virginia. My preliminary research suggests their only child was William Jonathan Blair Jr. (1919-1974, never married, d. of pancreatic cancer, informant on his death certificate was first cousin Ethel Martin).10,11,12
Residence*	William and Nancy resided at 124 Baugh in Danville, Virginia, on 12 September 1918.2
Census1920*	William and Nancy appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Danville, Virginia, enumerated 15 January 1920, as 33 yo insurance agent W J & 29 yo wife Maude N Blair. Their 0.6 yo son W J Blair Jr was listed as living with them, as well as Maud's 37 yo sister Elizabeth E Belton.13
Census1930	William and Nancy appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Danville, Virginia, enumerated 3 April 1930, as 40 yo automobile salesman William J & 35 yo wife Nancy M Blair. Their 10 yo son William J Blair Jr was listed as living with them.14
