My preliminary research suggests their children were Donnie Elwanda (1924-1997, m. Billy Joe Sams), and Billie Jo Wolford (c1925- ). The 1930 census shows Bill's age at 1st marriage as 17 yo, Evelyn's as 15 yo. If this was the first marriage for each then they were married 10-13 years before 1930, i.e. 1917-1920. The age of their eldest is 6 yo, suggesting more like ca. 1924.1

Not sure what to make of the birth record for this child in "Virginia, Slave Birth Index, 1853-1866". FSTrees's ID no. K2RH-DMT gives him the initials R Y, but that's wrong based on the cited source since 'unnamed' was already dead. He's been confused with brother Roberty Young Blair.1,2

Marriage*	She married Charlie Irvin Blair Sr., son of James Addison Blair and Mahalia Allowyne Elliott, on 18 January 1903 in Caswell Co., North Carolina. My preliminary research suggests their only child was Louise Blair (c1905- , m. Henry Otis Winn 1921 in Danville). Louise's marriage record says she was daughter of C I & F R (not F L) Blair. Louise & Henry had at least four children, Thelma V, Lois F, Marion E (a daughter according to her headstone), and William Winn.1,3

My preliminary research suggests their children were William Perry (1851-1923), Lulu M (c1860- , m. John W Tolman 1882 in Mills, IA), Carlos Everett "Carl" (1862-1936, m. Clara M Ash 1888 in Cass, IA), and Vesta Josephine Head (1865-1943, m. William J Way 1882 in Mills, IA). FSTrees claims one other, Lee Head (1853-1853) but I've found no evidence for his existence.2,3,4,5
Census1850	Thomas and Sophronia appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Buckheart, Fulton Co., Illinois, enumerated 12 November 1850, as 24 yo carpenter Thomas & 20 yo Sophronia E Head. Thomas & Sophronia are the 2nd family in same dwelling with her parents Joseph & Mary Crosswait.6
Census1860*	Thomas and Sophronia appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Glenwood, Mills Co., Iowa, enumerated 2 July 1860, as 35 yo master carpenter T H & 32 yo Sophronia Head. Their son 9 yo Willie P was listed as living with them, as well as one servant.7
Milit-Service*	Capt. Thomas H. Head served as 1st Lieutenant, later Captain with Co. A, 4th Iowa Infantry during the Civil War from 15 August 1861 to 5 May 1862.1

My preliminary research suggests their children were Irene (c1854-1933, m. Joseph Cooke, res. Fairfield, WA 1915), Horace C (1858-1930, m. Laura Ellen Riste 1882 in Gage, NE, res. Indianola 1914, d. of suicide by strychnine poisoning), Esther (1866-1884), and Lucy (Mary?) Josephine McCleary (1870-1921, m. W E Hamilton, res. Indianola 1914, executrix of her father's estate 1914, d. in a truck accident).      The Sioux City Journal article says they were married 18 October. In the 1910 census they've been married 57 years with 7 born and 3 living.5,6,1,2

Death*	John died on 1 April 1914 at his home in Indianola, Warren Co., Iowa, at age 84. His obit in The Des Moines Register, dateline 03 Apr, says he died yesterday (i.e. 02 Apr) as does the Directory of Deceased American Physicians, 1804-1929. His GAR Membership Record says 09 April!.2,3,4

Marriage*	She married 2nd Lt. Robert Barton Mack, son of Capt. John Armenius Mack Sr. and Sarah Sophia "Sue" Mack, circa 1885. I don't really buy this marriage. It's too much like Robert's first wife. The only evidence for it is the 1900 census.1
Census1900	Sarah and Robert appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Clay Twp., Greene Co., Missouri, enumerated 15 June 1900, as 64 yo farmer Robert B & 52 yo wife Sarah V Mack. Their children 32 yo Nora A, 31 yo Henry E, 28 yo Julia H, 27 yo Gracie G, 25 yo Lulu J, 23 yo Charles E, and 20 yo Susan S Mack, as well as 23 yo nephew Henry W White.1
Death*	Sarah died before 12 May 1910, date based on husband Robert being a widower in the 1910 census of this date.2
