HQO consistently misreads H as W so has Isaac indexed as Isaac W Vandegrift. Column 20 "Denied vote" is checked for Isaac. Recall he was marked insane in 1860.16
Death*	Martha died on 31 January 1879 in probably Port Penn, New Castle Co., Delaware, at age 75. Find A Grave's date is 17 Jan. Her obit is a bit cryptic in that the newspaper is dated 10 Feb 1879 and it says she died 'on Friday of last week'. That could be interpreted as either 07 Feb or 31 Jan. Since 31 Jan is supported by other sources I assume that's what was meant. She was 'of Port Penn' though it doesn't specifically say she died there.17,4,7,6,18
Burial*	She was buried at Old Drawyers Church Cemetery in Odessa, New Castle Co., Delaware. Her headstone is adjacent to her husband Isaac's.19,20,7

Death*	George died on 20 January 1900 in his home near Cecilton, Cecil Co., Maryland, at age 81. His obits say he died Saturday, 20 Jan. His death certificate says 19 Jan. The two obits are identical (The Cecil Whig & The Midland Journal).13,14,2
Burial*	He was buried at Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington, New Castle Co., Delaware. George's death certificate indicates he was buried at Riverview this date though I find no memorial at Find A Grave.13

It's a conglomeration of four different Leonard George Vandegrifts (TMG nos. 146, 2116, 4975 and 6948). Leonard and Ann Eliza's entries in Find A Grave closely match the exceptionally accurate research done by Robert King (S268.)1

Census1850	Sarah and John appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Southern Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 12 October 1850, as 63 yo farmer John & 47 yo Sarah Keen. Their daughter Isabel S. was listed as living with them. Others, currently unknown, in the household were John Smith 17, Martha A. Withers 25, Jabez L. Smith 22, Elizabeth P. Smith 17, Celestia C. Smith 15, Susan L. V. Smith 12, Sarah C. Withers 4, and James A. Withers 2. Daughter Emily and her husband Amaziah A. Smith are in the same location, enumerated 13 pages after John and Sarah. Whether the Smiths living in Capt. John's household are related is unknown.8
