Marriage*His second marriage was to Frances C. Ramsey, daughter of Noten Ramsey and Rachel Witcher, on 22 January 1836 at Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. Shadrack had m1 Elizabeth (Towler) Toler, daughter of John Towler and Sally Dalton, on 18 Dec 1828 in Pittsylvania County. Issue per Shockley in her AMB posting were Emily R. (1846-1923), Eurastus (or Euphratus, 1848-1928), and John S. Shockley (1837-1862). All three show up in the 1850 census.1,2 
Death*Shadrack died before 16 November 1850, date based on wife Frances living with her father and three children in the 1850 census. Divorce is a possibility.2

Vesta Bybee Andereck (1896-1897), Dana Bybee Andereck (1898-1981, m1 Emma Taylor 1916, m2 Alice Arnold 1918, m3 Vera Goss 1921, m4 Blanche Fairbanks 1938), and Toghee Andereck (1901-1906).
     Bertha's obit says they were married 29 Jun. The IN Marriages record says 28 Jun but that could have been the license date. Married 14 years with 3 born & 1 living in the 1910 census.4,2,1 
Census1900*Bertha and William appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Seward Twp., Kosciusko Co., Indiana, enumerated circa 6 June 1900, as 26 yo saw mill yardman Hershal & 21 yo wife Bertha Andereck. Marriage*She married Mills Higgins Donaldson, son of James Donaldson and Rachel Ruth Higgins, on 18 August 1846, date based on oldest child listed by Find A Grave. My preliminary research suggests their children were William Higgins (1847-1923), James Peyton (1848-1927), Thomas Andrew (1850-1919) and Andrew Jackson (1866-1940) Donaldson.5,1,2 
Burial*She was buried at Ebenezer Cemetery in Pontotoc, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi. Joint portrait photo but no headstone or death date at Find A Grave.4
