Birth*William, son of Miles Harrell and Margaret Lnu, was born between 1825 and 1830.3,1
CensusLeadA person who might be William appeared on the 1830 census in a 30-39 yo male at Houston Co., Georgia, Miles Harrell. The enumeration was 213011-011001. Issues include Margaret being one bracket older than we expect. There's an extra male 20-30, two extra males 10-15, and an extra female 5-10. Perhaps a widowed brother of either Miles or Margaret with his children.4
CensusLeadA person who might be William appeared on the 1840 census in a 40-49 yo male at Houston Co., Georgia, Miles Harrill [Miles Harrell]. The enumeration was 0221101-200101. Miles would be in the 40-50 slot and I've entered a birthyear range based on this information. One problem is the unknown second male in the 5-10 yo slot, else this enumeration fits well with available info.3
Census1850William appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of 69th GMD, Pulaski Co., Georgia in the household of his mother, Margaret Lnu, as 22 yo Wm Harrell.5

Birth*Catherine was born in 1807 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia.2
Marriage*She married Jonathan Fadeley on 16 August 1831 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia. Find A Grave claims another son of Jonathan and Catherine : William Lafayette Fadeley, 1824-1861, Find A Grave Memorial no. 143451320, m. Anna Maria Mumaw Dellinger 1849. This makes little sense given Jno & Catherine were married in 1831.2
Census1840Catherine is probably the female age 30 to 39 listed in the household of her husband, Jonathan Fadeley, in the 1840 Federal Census of Shenandoah Co., Virginia.3
Census1850*Catherine and Jonathan appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dist. 58, Shenandoah Co., Virginia, enumerated 21 September 1850, as 43 yo joiner Jonathan & 43 yo Catharine Fadeley. Their children Raphael, Leannah, Emeline, Isaac Phinehas, William L., Amanda Elizabeth, David Dillman and John H. were listed as living with them.4
Census1860Catherine and Jonathan appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Strasburg Dist., Shenandoah Co., Virginia, enumerated 18 October 1860, as 52 yo farmer Jonathan & 52 yo Catherine Fadeley. Their children Raphael, William L., Emeline, Amanda Elizabeth, David Dillman and John H. were listed as living with them. This is another of those freak enumerations where the parents are on one page and the children are 187 pages away! The note on the parents' page reads, "For other members of this family see top of page 609". On the childrens' page it reads, "For other members of this family see bottom of page 796". The parents are in Strasburg District enumerated 18 Oct, the kids are in Lantz Mill District enumerated 23 Oct. Go figure.5,6
Death*Catherine died before 1866 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia.2
