The ages at first marriage given in the 1930 census suggest Chris's first marriage was in 1911, Mary's in 1904. Assuming those dates are approximately correct this would be at least Mary's second marriage.1,5

Ancestry's Walton tree claims without citation that WW & Brittie had a child born and died in 1890. Later census records do not support this.1

Marriage*	He married Julia E. Austin on 9 November 1881 in Orange Co., Texas. Julia shows 4 born & 3 living in the 1900 census. One of the two currently for whom I have no name may be Amelia Holmes (1887-unk). FSTrees says she d 1945 but that seems to conflict w/ census record when she is missing in the 1900 census and would have been only 13 yo.1,3

Moving to the Okmulgee area in 1928 he worked for the Okmulgee Times until 1940. In Jan 1949 he received a medical retirement from the Kansas state printing plant.8,4

Their children 21 yo single son Nathan, 30 yo married daughter Mary, and 25 yo married daughter Flora were listed as living with them. Also in the home were Mary's 32 yo husband Robt Stilley, and 1 yo son Rupert (as son-in-law & grandson), and Flora's 32 yo husband Frank Brooks (as son-in-law.)7

Their daughter 40 yo Mary E Blair was listed as living with them, as well as Mary's 42 yo husband Robert L Stilley, and their sons 11 yo Rupert A, and 6 yo Paul Blair Stilley (as son-in-law & grandsons.)8

My preliminary research suggests only child was Ralph Henry Robison (1865-1936, m. Eliza Jeannet Dawson 1899 in AR, had at least seven children, res. San Bernardino, CA in the 1910-1930 censuses).1

Marriage*	She married William Washington Brittain on 15 December 1871 in Franklin Co., Tennessee. My preliminary research suggests children were Dr. Ethel (1872-1955, m. Fnu Hunter), Columbus Lilliard (1874-1946, m. Frances Gail Chapman 1897), James David (1875-1965, m. Myrtle Cooper), Elmer Francis (1883-1962, m. Sarah V Devlin ca. 1929 in Sebastian, AR), and Floyd Brittain (). The 1910 census confirms married 38 years with 5 born and 5 living. One marriage record lists her as Mrs. E F Lyon, another as simply E F Lyon. The 1910 census shows 'm2' for James, which is correct, but 'm1' for Elizabeth. I'm currently uncertain whether her maiden surname was Lyon or Lnu.1,2,4

Marr-License*	Joseph Henry Fields and Mary Jane Cynthia Blair obtained a marriage license on 6 March 1856 at Rutherford Co., Tennessee. My preliminary research suggests their children were Rilla Jane (1859-1946, m. Fnu Hall, had dau Mary C Hall Waller), and John H Fields (c1867-a1891).3,1
Census1870	Joseph and Mary appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Murfreesboro PO, Civil Dist. 7, Rutherford Co., Tennessee, enumerated 5 August 1870, as 46 yo framer Jos H & 37 yo Jane Fields. Their children 10 yo Ellie (Rilla) and 3 yo John Fields were listed as living with them.4
LandOwner*	23 June 1880 Joseph owned land at Rutherford Co., Tennessee, consisting of 88 acres producing 10 tons of hay.5

My preliminary research suggests their only child was William Madison Bailey (1872-1949, m. Emma Susan Morris bef. 1901, Find A Grave memorial no. 74263482). Jeanette's FSTrees entry (MYLB-3LJ) claims an unnamed daughter (1866-1866) but I find no evidence. One marriage record says 25 Jun 1865 but the others say 25 Jun 1866. Jenette's name is spelled at least three different ways.2,1,3,4

Birth*	Rufus was born in November 1873 in North Carolina, s/o Fnu & Rachel Adkins. Adkins or Atkins? Mary's death certificate says Adkins. Her Find A Grave memorial & headstone say Atkins although her husband is noted as Rufus Adkins. Go figure.2,3,4
Marriage*	He married Mary Matilda Blair, daughter of John Blair Jr. and Sally Baker King, on 8 January 1891 in Westfield, Surry Co., North Carolina. My preliminary research suggests their children were Jeremiah M "Jerry" (1892-1958, m. Minnie Lnu, 3 kids in 1920), James Alvin (1895- , m. Lottie Hensley 1936, Lucy Maybelle Bowman 1946), and Robert Lee (1900-1967, m. Ruby Pearl Newman 1938) Adkins. The 1910 census confirms married 20 years with 3 born and 3 living. Son James Alvin's middle name may be Alan.2,4,5

Birth*	Martha was born on 13 May 1852 in Forsyth Co., North Carolina, d/o W F Ledford.2,3,1
Marriage*	She married Elijah William Blair, son of John Blair Jr. and Sally Baker King, on 28 January 1875 in Mt. Airy, Surry Co., North Carolina. My preliminary research suggests their children were William Bunyon "Willie" (c1885?-1964, school teacher, m. Rosella Taylor 1910 in Surry Co), and Martha Francis "Fannie" Blair (1885?-1914, m. Jim(?) Taylor). The birthyears for these two children are questionable as they both claim Martha or Martha Ledford as their mother, yet she reliably died in 1883. It's possible Elijah m2 Martha Lnu between m1's death in 1883 and his own in 1889 and these are her children, but I've found no evidence for this and in any case Martha specifically says her mother was Ledford. Marriages says 28 Jan, her husband claims 26 Jan in wife's obit written by him.3,4,5
