ResearchNote*	Research Note of 10 June 2021 re 1880 census. I believe that in the 1880 census Brittie is enumerated with her parents as 'Chuff'. She's 6 yo. For Brittie not to be Chuff would require Brittie to be missing in 1880 and Chuff to be missing everafter in the census records.
Marriage*	Her first marriage was to W. W. Ratcliff on 2 April 1889 at Hamilton Co., Texas. Ancestry's Walton tree claims without citation that WW & Brittie had a child born and died in 1890. Later census records do not support this.6
Marriage*	Her second marriage was to Ichabod Adam "Bud" Little between 1895 and 1896. My preliminary research suggests their children were Rowena (1896-1896), John Harvey (1897-1970, was informant on his mother's death certificate), Paul Leon (1904-1978), H L (1907-1908), and Eugene Little (1910-1911). The 1900 census shows Brittie & Bud married 4 years with 1 born & 1 living. In the 1910 it's married 14 years with 5 born & 2 living.4,5
Census1900*	Brittie and Ichabod appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Iredell, Bosque Co., Texas, enumerated 8 June 1900, as 33 yo farmer Bud & 26 yo wife Brittie Little. Their 2 yo son Harry Little was listed as living with them. This census correctly identifies Brittie's parents' birthstates as NY & VA.5

Lindsey is 37 with first marriage at age 27. That works out to 1919 which matches other info for his m1 to Mary. Another point in favor of this marriage is that Lindsey is referred to as 'L B Williams of Visalia' in his mother's obit of 1939.7

My preliminary research suggests their children were Robert Lloyd (1917-1990, US Navy 1939-1945), Dorothy M (1919-a1973, m. Arthur F Turnrose ca. 1939, div. 1969), and Mildred I Bunney (1923-a1973, m. Fnu Vartschat bef. 1975). CA County Marriages indexed her as Ida but the handwriting on the marriage license clearly says Lola to me..7,8,9

They were Margaret Ellen (1921-1921), Richard Nolan (1922-1923), and Robert Clark Williams (1925-1926). Lulu had m1 Burr Porter Baldwin in 1915. Burr died 1918. They had at least two children: namely, Harold and Eudora LaVerne Baldwin (m1 Audry Burris, m2 Frank Ross Judd). Lulu was living in Bakersfield in the 1920 census as HOH with the children.8

Birth*	Louisa, daughter of William Henry "Will" Williams and Nancy Louisa "Lou" Beaty, was born on 28 February 1891 in Texas. I find no primary evidence that Louisa was the d/o William & Nancy. It's one of those 'eveyone says' but no one cites a source. Lou's sister Mary is pretty well tied to the parents by the 1930 census. Perhaps some record linking the sisters will do the job. I'm going with it for now but it's iffy.2,3
Marriage*	She married Gideon Lyman Friend on 27 October 1907 in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. My preliminary research suggests their children were Mary E (c1909-a1972, m. Fnu Moschetti ), Bert Franklin (1910-1996, m. Norma Marian Stonecypher), William Lyman (1913-1988), Sidney Gideon (1917-1989, m. Elizabeth J Compton), and Lois Ellen Friend (1925-1995).1,4,5,6
