What's going on here? I've no doubt this is our Sarah.6

Her headstone says died 30 Nov 1840 at age 34y 3m 3d which works out to birth ca. 27 Aug 1806. Two issues make this date suspect. First her parents were clearly married in 1811. The other is her age of 20-29 in the 1840 census. My guess is the headstone should read 24y and the year of birth is 1816, not 1806.2
Marriage*	She married Lucian Davison Griggs on 4 September 1838 in Clinton Co., Indiana. Issue per Find A Grave was Thomas Jefferson Griggs. Lucian m2 Mary Townsend Kirk and had Lewis Theodore, Nathan Kirk, and Mary Lucian Griggs. There's an unnamed female <5 yo in the 1840 census who may have been a daughter.3,4

Marriage*	He married Ellen Amelia Irvine, daughter of James Callender Irvine and Martha Bartlett, on 15 January 1855 in Knox Co., Ohio. My preliminary research suggests their children were,      Martha Becker (c1857- , m. Fnu Moore and had dau Melle Moore (c1879- ),      James K Becker (c1859- ),      Max J Becker (c1862- ), and      Menettie L Becker (c1866- ).1

Death Records says 29 May 1854 as does Find A Grave, but there's no headstone photo so no telling where that date came from. BVS Birth Records being closer to the fact I'm going with it.2,1,3

Census1870*	David appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Ashby Twp., Shenandoah Co., Virginia, as 15 yo David F Lindamood in the household of 67 yo Mary Lindamood. Note there was a 65 yo Mary Lindamood living with David and his parents in the 1860 census. David's father William's mother was Mary Lnu Lindamood. This woman likely David's grandmother. David's parents are nowhere to be found in the 1870 census suggesting they have both died.5
Marriage*	He married Laura Jane Boehm in 1880. VA Compiled Marriages claims 29 Apr 1880 but that doesn't work with Laura being single and living with her parents in the June 1880 census. In the 1900 census they show married 20 years. In the 1910 they show married 30 years. So marriage in 1880 seems correct. The April date is suspect.6,3

Marriage*	She married David Fredrick Lindamood, son of William Lindamood and Elizabeth Helsley, in 1880. VA Compiled Marriages claims 29 Apr 1880 but that doesn't work with Laura being single and living with her parents in the June 1880 census. In the 1900 census they show married 20 years. In the 1910 they show married 30 years. So marriage in 1880 seems correct. The April date is suspect.4,1

Find A Grave claims 1881 for the marriage to Nancy but MO Marriage Records provides the date I've shown. A witness John Heaston was present, likely Nancy's brother-in-law from her m1 to Methuselah Heistand.      My preliminary research suggests Ben's m1 children were Elias, Nathaniel, Emanuel, Naomi, Benjamin F, Anna & Samuel Lapp, all of whom have Find A Grave memorials.2,3
