LandOther*	8 December 1808 at Laurens Co., Georgia, Hardy of Washington county purchased land from William Carrol of Telfair County. This land originally granted to Richard Dowdy of Montgomery County. Witnesses Stephen Bishop and David Blackshear. Source referenced is Laurens County Court Records from Laurens County Public Library. Foregoing alleged by Ancestry's James Wyatt Family Tree citing Laurens County Court Records. I have been unable to find this record online.
Marriage*	He married Martha Lnu before 1812, date based on eldest child listed in Ancestry's James Wyatt Family Tree, uncited and possibly worthless.1
Census1820*	Hardy appeared on the 1820 Federal Census of Laurens Co., Georgia, with a household listed as 40001-101, as 20-45 yo Cordy Wyatt (as indexed) though it's pretty clearly written Hardy Wyatt. There are four children in this enumeration who don't fit with the six children we have entered, one daughter and three sons. All were clearly born on or before 1820, all four are unaccounted for in the 1830 census and have presumably died.2
Census1830	Hardy appeared on the 1830 Federal Census of Laurens Co., Georgia, with a household listed as 00410001-110001, as 50-60 yo Hardy Wyatt. Hardy is shown two brackets too old. He should be in the 30-39 range.3
Census1840	Hardy appeared on the 1840 Federal Census of Laurens Co., Georgia, with a household listed as 0002000001-0101101, as 70-79 yo Hardy Wyatt. Another messy enumeration. Hardy is again two brackets too old, daughter Martha is probably one bracket too old, son Daniel likely one bracket too young, and daughter Elizabeth one bracket too old.4

Elisha supposedly died in 1862 so he and Nancy presumably divorced before she m2 Thomas Garnto in 1856. I find no census record supporting Elisha & Nancy or either of the children. Furthermore the handwritten name on the marriage record is Mary, not Nancy.5
