Census1950*	Leonard and Beulah appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Macon, Bibb Co., Georgia, enumerated 3 April 1950, as 31 yo railway express clerk and foreman Leonard W & 28 yo wife Beulah P Freeman. Others in the household were 51 yo mother Gertrude Carr and 28 yo half-brother Emory Carr.1

Marriage*	Her first marriage was to Billy Wade Payne, son of Reese Harrison Payne and Sinnie Elizabeth Mackey, on 26 November 1953 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Rentz, Laurens Co., Georgia. Researcher Angelia Freeman, Billy Wade's niece, says they were married on 26 Nov 1953 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Rentz.      Their children were David Wade (1955- ), Jerry Alton (1959-2021, m. Robin Deanne Roe) and Lisa marie (1963- , m1 Lex Alan Williams. m2 Frank Ayres) Payne. Jerry & Robin's only child was William Robert "Billy" Payne. Lisa & Lex's children were Ashley Marie and Joshua Allen Williams. I've not pursued primary documentation for any of these names or events.1
Marriage*	Her second marriage was to Roy Edwin Baggett Jr. on 16 January 1994 at Laurens Co., Georgia.6
Marriage*	Her third marriage was to Osler Russell Tipton after 1996, date assumes this marriage after death of Virginia's m2 Roy Baggett.4
Death*	Virginia died on 17 October 2020 in Dublin, Laurens Co., Georgia, at age 85.4

Marriage*	He married Mary Ann Witcher, daughter of Capt. Vincent Witcher and Nancy Newbill, on 26 November 1831 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.2,1
Census1840*	Albert Gallitan appeared on the 1840 Federal Census of Regiment 107, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, with a household listed as 200001-11001 as 30-39 yo Albert G Smith. Albert & Mary Ann both show correct age brackets. A perfect enumeration but for John being right on the edge of his bracket. Two doors below find Frances Witcher (11-0102001). Three doors below find Reuben Witcher (00001001-00120001.)3
Estate-Will*	Albert Gallitan Smith left a will dated 4 May 1850 at Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, naming his father-in-law Capt Vincent Witcher executor. Named heirs included his wife Mary A Witcher and children Ann P., John A., Victoria C., Vincent Oliver and Nancy J.4
Census1850	Albert and Mary appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Northern Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 12 November 1850, as 44 yo physician Albert G & 35 yo Mary Smith. Their children Ann P., John A., Victoria C., Vincent Oliver and Nancy J. were listed as living with them. Their children () were listed as living with them.5
Death*	Albert died on 12 May 1851 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, at age 45.1
Burial*	He was buried at Dudley-Woody Family Cemetery, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. Find A Grave provides short bio but no headstone photo, no spouse or children links.1
