Birth*	Everett, son of Richard Crayton Downey and Jeanette Elizabeth "Junettia" Lewis, was born on 21 February 1875 in Indiana. Date per his death certificate, but state is Kansas in that document. His SS Application says 21 Feb 1876. Middle name: On his WWI draft card it's spelled and signed as Craiton, but indexed as Craston. On his death certificate it's Charles. Son-in-law Paul Elsrod was the informant and perhaps wasn't entirely up to speed. He spelled Everett's father's name as Creighton.1,5,6,7
