My preliminary research suggests their only child was infant son Blair (1910-1910, born & died same day due to premature birth). Jesse's WWI draft registration confirms he was married by 1917.5,6,1

Residence	Jesse resided at 1724 W 97th in Seattle, King Co., Washington, between 1942 and 1960. His WWII draft registration gives his address as 1724 W 97th but there's no such address in Seattle in 2021. At least some of the West addresses have been changed to Northwest. He's still a Seattle waterfront employee and member of the ILWU in 1942.1,11,12
Death*	Jesse died on 31 October 1964 in Washington at age 77.13
ResearchNote*	Research Note of 10 July 2021 re contradictions. Jesse and Mabel were married in 1909 yet Jesse is enumerated with his parents in the April 1910 census. They had a premature son born and died same day 29 Jul 1910. Jesse is again with his parents in the 1920 census.      By 1930 he and a wife Anna may be living together, though the census lists him as James, not Jesse. In 1940 he's again James with wife Anna.

ResearchNote*	Research Note re census issues. It's odd that Elizabeth doesn't show up in either the 1920 or 1930 census with her parents or any of her siblings. Yet her death certificate clearly states her parents were J C Woodward & Caroline Blair.2
Death*	Elizabeth died on 8 January 1936 at Nix Hospital in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas, at age 19, of peritonitis due to renal tuberculosis.1

My preliminary research suggests their children were Elmer Martin (1915-1970, m. Billie Marie Ash 1938), and Jessie Mae Woodward (1918-2002, m. Jimmie J Argiros by 1939, res. Corpus Christi in 1942).1
Residence	Jessie and Elmer resided at 704 Travis in Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., Texas, on 5 June 1917. Elmer's occupation is linotype operator for Times Publishing Co. He's married with child. He is totally disabled due to gunshot wound.2
Census1920	Jessie and Elmer appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Denison, Grayson Co., Texas, as boarders 32 yo newspaper printer Elmer B & 27 yo Jessie M Woodward in the household of 41 yo Eula E Hamilton. Their children 4 yo Elmer M & 1 yo Jessie M Woodward were listed as living with them. Elmer's occupation is printer for a newspaper. Jessie, the mother, died in November of this year.3

Milit-Service*	Sgt. James S. Colley served as a Private with Battery C, 125th Field Artillery, 34th Division, US Army during WWI between 1918 and 1919. He embarked aboard transport Saxon at Hoboken, NJ, on 24 Sep 1918 for an unnamed destination. The person to notify in case of emergency was wife Mrs. Agnes Colley, 918 W. Chestnut St., Denison, Texas. He departed Liverpool, England on 19 Apr 1919 for Camp Merritt, NJ aboard transport Louisville. Again Agnes was listed at the same address. James was now a Sergeant in MTC (Motor Transport Corps) 702.4
Marriage*	He married Agnes I. Woodward, daughter of John Claude Woodward and Martha Caroline "Carrie" Blair, on 10 March 1918 at the home of her parents in Denison, Grayson Co., Texas.1

Birth*	Jessie was born circa 1891 in Illinois. Her surname is Burnett in the birth record of an unnamed daughter in 1917. The fletcher-markey tree at Ancestry gives her surname as Brown without citation. Her parents born Indiana and Illinois according to the 1920 census.2
Marriage*	She married Clarence Russell Webb before 22 May 1916. Uncertain whether Clarence and Jessie were married by now but they had an unnamed daughter in San Angelo this date. Their son Clarence Jr was born in 1919. My preliminary research suggests their children were |Fnu (dau, 1916-1920), and Col. Clarence Russell "Rusty" Webb Jr (1919-2003, m1 Marion Terwilliger 1946, with US Embassy, Ottawa, Canada 1963, divorced 1973, m2 Muriel Fletcher 1979).2

My preliminary research suggests their children were Bobbie Nell (1931-1931), Robbie Dean (1933-1933), Guyrene Norma (1933-1994, m. Fnu Rogers), and Bettie Joyce Robinson (?-a1996, m. Jesse Mitchell Miner 1956, res. White Settlement, TX in 1997).4,1,5

Census1930*	J. and Ola appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Eastland, Eastland Co., Texas, at 611 S. Dixie, enumerated 7 April 1930, as 21 yo state highway truck driver Guy & 18 yo wife Ola Robertson.6
Census1940	J. and Ola appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Eastland, Eastland Co., Texas, at 1310 S. Green St., enumerated 24 April 1940, as 30 yo commercial truck driver Guy & 28 yo wife Ola Jane Robinson. Their daughters 6 yo Norma and 4 yo Betty Joyce Robinson were listed as living with them, as well as Ola's 15 yo sister Eula Blair.7
Death*	J. died on 20 April 1987 at age 77.3
Burial*	He was buried at Eastland City Cemetery in Eastland, Eastland Co., Texas. Find A Grave provides photo of joint headstone with wife Ola.3
