Her previous husband was Posey Stegall. Blair Line also gives her surname as Stegal. Marriage*	His second marriage was to Mary Elizabeth Page on 9 December 1939 at Halifax Co., Virginia. My preliminary research suggests their only child was Ruth Elizabeth Blair (1940- , m. Lawrence Scott Taylor 1941 Chatham, VA).19
Census1940	Rawley and Mary appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Chatham Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 11 April 1940, as 49 yo farmer Rawley & 33 yo wife Mary E Blair. Rawley's mother, sister Mary P Hodges and Mary's husband Arthur were listed as living with them.20
Residence*	Rawley and Mary resided at Rte. 5 in Chatham Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, in 1942. Rawley was a farmer on his own land.6
Residence*	Rawley resided in Chatham, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, on 4 October 1951, per brother Ben's obit.21

Census1930	Martha and Q. appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Lewiston Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 9 April 1930, as 44 yo Wilson & 37 yo Rebecca Hodges. Their children 13 yo Wilson, 11 yo Louise and 9 yo Mary Hodges were listed as living with them.9
Residence*	Martha resided in Green Bay, Prince Edward Co., Virginia, on 9 April 1940. This per her mother's obit. Prince Edward Co. is some 60 miles northeast of Pittsylvania Co. The obit seems more likely incorrect than the census for her 1940 residence.11
Census1940	Martha and Q. appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Lewiston Mag. Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 15 April 1940, as 52 yo Wilson Q & 48 yo Rebecca Hodges. Their children 24 yo Wilson and 21 yo Louise Hodges were listed as living with them.12

ResearchNote*	Research Note of 6 May 2019 re her parents. I've found no other evidence for this person in the censuses. In the 1900 census Susie's mother shows married 12 years with 4 born and 4 living. Her four in that census are Parke, Rawley, Rebecca and Robert Luther. On the other hand there are only 11 gravestones in the Sheva cemetery so it's a pretty good bet that Luther & Nannie are her parents.3

He's with his father, she's with her brother Elijah Adams & family, along with her 2 yo son Luther. She shows married 4 years with 1 born and 1 living.5,6

Marriage*	He married Pink Grace Blair, daughter of Luther Rice Blair and Macybeth Harriett Aaron, on 24 February 1912 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. My preliminary research suggests their children were Samuel Luther (1912-1912) and Col. John R Thompson Jr. (1920-1997, USAF, res. Falls Church, VA 1970).5,6
Milit-Service*	1st Lt. John Robert Thompson served as Lieutenant with the US Army Coast Artillery Corps Reserve during WWI between 1914 and 1917. His headstone reads 1st Lieutenant, but wife Pink's says 'wife of 2nd LT J R Thompson USA'.1

Marriage*	He married Macbeth Harriett "Bessie" Blair, daughter of Luther Rice Blair and Macybeth Harriett Aaron, on 26 December 1909 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. My preliminary research suggests their children were Virginia H (1915-2004, m. Everett Mumford Jess; has two Find A Grave memorials), Mary Frances (1917-1938, m. William L. Shores Jr.), Myron Blair (1921-1981), Thomas Clyde (1923-1997, m. Lona Mae Ferrell) and Ruth Erma Burch (1926-1990, m1 Charles Dewey McMichael 1946, m2. Merrill Thomas Kelly 1951).4,5,6

Census1930	Peter and Macbeth appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Chapel Hill, Orange Co., North Carolina, enumerated 19 April 1930, as 46 yo P L & 44 yo Bessie Burch. Their children 14 yo Virginia, 12 yo Mary Frances, 9 yo Myron, 6 yo Clyde, and 3 yo Ruth Burch were listed as living with them. Peter's occupation is building superintendent for the University.10
Census1940	Peter and Macbeth appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Chapel Hill, Orange Co., North Carolina, enumerated 18 April 1940, as 56 yo Peter L & 54 yo Bessie B Burch. Their children 16 yo Clyde and 13 yo Ruth Burch were listed as living with them, as well as 3 yo granddaughter Patricia Shores.11

Marriage*	He married Mary Parke Blair, daughter of Luther Rice Blair and Anne Eliza "Nannie" Pritchett, on 20 September 1910 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. My preliminary research suggests their children were Nannie B. (1911-1989, m. Walter Winfree Groome Sr. 1931 Richmond) and Mary Rebecca Hodges (1912-2001, m1 Leslie Menderville Davis Sr. 1936 Richmond, m2 Elmer Calvert Hare Jr. 1986 Richmond).6,7,8

Marriage*	He married Martha Rebecca Blair, daughter of Luther Rice Blair and Anne Eliza "Nannie" Pritchett, on 28 April 1915. My preliminary research suggests their children were Q. Wilson Jr. (1916-1999, m. Ruby Eldgred Littlejohn), Louise Eliza (1918-2005, never married) and Mary Hodges (c1921- ).      This date per Find A Grave. I've been unable to find any other source for a marriage date. Census 'years married' records do not disagree by much.5,2,6

Marriage*	She married Robert Luther Blair, son of Luther Rice Blair and Anne Eliza "Nannie" Pritchett, on 10 May 1926 in Lucas Co., Ohio. My preliminary research suggests their children were Joyce (c1929-a1967, m. Fnu Miller bef 1968), Robert Charles (1931-2003) and Susan Blair (a1939-a1967, m. Fnu Bush bef 1968).6,2
Census1930*	Zella and Robert appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 2 April 1930, as 28 yo Robert & 19 yo Zella Blair. Their 0.9 yo daughter Joyce Blair was listed as living with them. Robert is a tobacconist in a cigar factory.7
Census1940	Zella and Robert appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 22 April 1940, as 42 yo Robert L & 33 yo Zella Blair. Their children 10 yo Joyce and 7 yo Robert Blair were listed as living with them. Robert is now a foreman in a cigar company.4
