Bartlett W. Blue Sr.1,2
M, #8006, b. February 1870, d. 8 December 1930
Birth* | Bartlett, son of Abner W. Blue and Olive A. Miller, was born in February 1870 in Iowa. Find A Grave claims birthyear of 1872 but provides no headstone for comparison. He's clearly 0.4 yo in the 1870 census. The only way Find A Grave's 1872 date works is if this person died very young and within two years Abner & Olive had another s/o the same name.4,1 |
Census1870 | Bartlett appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Belle Plaine, Benton Co., Iowa in the household of his parents, Abner W. Blue and Olive A. Miller, as 0.4 yo Barltett Blue.2 |
Census1880 | Bartlett appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Bradford, Darke Co., Ohio in the household of his parents, Abner W. Blue and Olive A. Miller, as 10 yo son Bartlett Blue.5 |

Census1910* | Bartlett and Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Lexington Ward 1, Fayette Co., Kentucky, enumerated 21 April 1910, as 39 yo railroad foreman Bartlett W & 28 yo wife Mary Blue. Their 1 yo daughter Helen was listed as living with them.7 |
Census1920 | Bartlett and Mary appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Lexington, Fayette Co., Kentucky, enumerated 15 January 1920, as 49 yo railroad master mechanic Bartlett W & 36 yo wife May R Blue. Their 11 yo daughter Helen E was listed as living with them as well as 7 lodgers.8 |

Nettie E. "Lida" Blue1,2
F, #8007, b. November 1878
Birth* | Nettie, daughter of Abner W. Blue and Olive A. Miller, was born in November 1878 in Ohio. I am assuming Lida of the 1880 and Nettie E. of the 1900 are the same person based on mother Olive's 1900 entry showing 4 born and 4 living. They may be two separate daughters. In the 1880 Lida is 4 yo. In the 1900 she's 21 yo, not 24, a significant discrepancy.1,2 |
Census1880 | Nettie appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Bradford, Darke Co., Ohio in the household of her parents, Abner W. Blue and Olive A. Miller, as 4 yo daughter Lida Blue.2 |
Census1900 | Nettie appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky in the household of her parents, Abner W. Blue and Olive A. Miller, as 21 yo daughter Nettie E Blue.1 |
