In the 1900 & 1910 censuses Fannie is widowed with 3 born & 3 living. It's really 5 born and 3 living. William's Find A Grave memorial gives her initials as ES. FSTrees (Fannie Palmer (1855-1932), ID no. 9DWX-TVK) claims another daughter, Rosie, (1882-1882) without citation.5
Census1880*	William and Fannie appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Bird Twp., Jackson Co., Arkansas, enumerated 12 June 1880, as 30 yo farmer W T & 25 yo Fannie L Haynes. Their children Samuel Luther and Walter George were listed as living with them.6
Death*	William died on 21 April 1883 in Tuckerman, Jackson Co., Arkansas, at age 34.3

Birth*	Samuel, son of William T. Enoch Haynes and Fannie S. Palmer, was born in February 1875 in Arkansas. Sam's birthdate is off quite a bit on his death certificate. It says 22 Dec 1883 (or 1888). Informant was Mrs. Ira V Long of Crawfordsville, AR. I don't know how she's related, if at all.3

Marriage*	He married Nettie McKinney on 28 October 1900 in Jackson Co., Arkansas. License dated 23rd. Both parties residing Tuckerman. Nettie is shown as 'Mrs' on the marriage record suggesting a prior marriage. This is confirmed by son Doyle's death certificate which gives her name as Nettie McKinney. The 1910 shows married 9 years with 3 born & 3 living. My preliminary research suggests their children were Doyle (1904-1925, m. Fnu Lnu who died after him), Allice (1906- ), Boyd (1908- ), and Pauline (1914- ) Haynes. See Research Note.7,1
Census1910*	Walter and Nettie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Bird Twp., Jackson Co., Arkansas, enumerated 27 April 1910, as 32 yo Walter & 30 yo Nitter Haynes. Their children 6 yo Doyle, 3 yo Aline?, and 0.11 yo baby son were listed as living with them. Sloppy handwriting is hard to read but Walter's birthstate of AR with parents' birthstates of GA and AR pretty well cinches it.8
Census1920	Walter and Nettie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Estica, Jackson Co., Arkansas, enumerated 21 January 1920, as 41 yo Walter & 38 yo Nettie Haynes. Their children 17 yo daughter Delli, 14 yo Allice, 11 yo Boyd, and 6 yo Pauline were listed as living with them.9
Death*	Walter died on 8 July 1930 in Wynne, Cross Co., Arkansas, at age 52, after being hit by a Missouri Pacific freight train.2,10
ResearchNote*	Research Note of 22 June 2019 re FSTrees. Walter George Haynes (1878-1930), ID no. LTMQ-5YT, and census records for this family are a mess. Trees claims six children: namely, Delli, Doyle, Allice, Luther, Boyd, and Pauline. The sources cited by Trees do not support anyone named Luther. The 1910 census shows 6 yo son Doyle (indexed Dagle), 3 yo daughter Aline or Alice, and 0.11 yo son 'baby'. The family name is indexed Harris. If you zoom in and enhance contrast Haynes is believable, but the writing is faint and poor.      The 1920 census shows 17 yo daughter Delli, 14 yo daughter Allice, 11 yo son Boyd, and 6 yo daughter Pauline.      I believe Doyle & Delli are the same person, that he is indeed a son, and that the enumerator just blew it in 1920. Doyle's death record shows parents Walter Haynes & Nettie McKinney. The baby boy in 1910 is Boyd in 1920.8,9

Both parties residing Tuckerman.      My preliminary research suggests their children were Edgar Earl (1902-1981, m. Kathryn Lnu), Fannie Beryl (1905-1994), Maggie Mae (1907-2005, m. Sam McDonald), Adrian Elroy (1909-1977), Oscar William (1915-1944), Dora Anniebell (1918-1986), and Floy Kathryn (1924-1987) Haynes.2

Residence*	Oscar resided in Quapaw, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma, on 29 January 1918. Four of the children are in the cited school records - Edgar, Beryle, Maggie, and Edrain Haynes. Unlike the WWI draft card, which follows, this suggests the family did live in Ottawa County rather than Tuckerman.7
Residence*	Oscar and Floynell resided at RFD #1 in Tuckerman, Jackson Co., Arkansas, on 12 September 1918. Oscar's WWI draft card is interesting. He and Floy live in Tuckerman. Oscar's job is as a mechanic for O T Lead & Zinc Co in Baxter Springs, Cherokee, KS. The draft card was registered in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.1
Census1940	Oscar and Floynell appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Marianna, Lee Co., Arkansas, enumerated 12 April 1940, as 58 yo Oscar W & 56 yo Floy N Haynes. Their children 24 yo Oscar Jr, 15 yo Kathryn, 38 yo Edgar E, and Edgar's wife as daughter-in-law 20 yo Kathryn Haynes were listed as living with them.8
Residence	Oscar and Floynell resided in Newark, Independence Co., Arkansas, in 1942.9
Death*	Oscar died on 25 January 1964 in Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee, at age 83.10,4

My preliminary research suggests their children were Cora Bell (1865-1935, m1 Alonzo Dorrell 1888, m2 Lewis W Underwood 1930), Willis L (1867-1896), Egbert "Bertie" (1872-1953, m. Ada Ann Nelson), George Edward (1875-1956, m. Frances Elizabeth Woodward), Iva Cerine (1881-1951, m. Arthur Estes Buntin), and Anna R (1883-1974, m. James C Hendren) Derr. Each of these children has a Find A Grave memorial.5,2

Census1920*	Laura appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Kingman, Kingman Co., Kansas, enumerated 16 January 1920, as 76 yo widow Laura Allen. Her 48 yo daughter Mable was listed as living with her, enumerated as sister. Just above is Laura's 46 yo divorced daughter Myrtle Westfall and her 6 yo son Jessie, showing same family number but different dwelling number. Go figure. Laura's age is about 10 years too high.8

Census1940	Laura appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Kingman, Kingman Co., Kansas, enumerated 3 April 1940, as 84 yo widow Laura J Allen. Her 68 yo daughter Mable E Allen, 64 yo widowed daughter Myrtle Westfall, and 26 yo grandson Si Allen Westfall were listed as living with her.10

Birth*	Henry was born on 14 March 1842 in Ohio.2
Milit-Service*	Sgt. Henry Pfaff served as Sergeant with Co. G, 8th Regt., Iowa Infantry during the Civil War between 1861 and 1866. NPS writes, Regiment lost during service 4 Officers and 98 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 4 Officers and 170 Enlisted men by disease. Total 276.3
Marriage*	He married Margery Elizabeth Allen, daughter of Abel Willis Allen and Arabelila Torian Dunkerson, in 1871. In the 1900 census they've been married 28 years with 8 born and 7 living. My preliminary research suggests their children were Ackless W (1873-1955, m. Catherine R Lnu), Alston Mathias (1875-1947, m. Hulda Anderson, m. Ella May Hannemann), Lillie Belle (1879-1968, m. Frank M Ewing), Elkanah Leroy (1883-1957, m. Florence Myrna Cloud), Adah Elizabeth (1885-1960, m. William Boyer), Arthur Frederick (1889-1955, m. Josephine C Travis), and Homer Henry (1896-1977, m. Marie Wilhemina Ernst, m. Mavis Lnu) Pfaff.1,4,5

Their children 26 yo Acklass W, 17 yo Elkanah L, 14 yo Ada E, 11 yo Arthur F, and 3 yo Henry H Pfaff were listed as living with them. Henry is now a farmer.7

Marriage*	She married Thomas J. Allen, son of Abel Willis Allen and Arabelila Torian Dunkerson, circa 1878. Married 22 years with 3 born and 2 living in 1900. Martha m2 Lafayette Pray in 1932 according to her Find A Grave memorial. My preliminary research suggests Tom & Martha's children were Edward George (1880-1969, m. Eva McKnight), Fnu (1882-1884), and Grace May (1891-1961, m. Joe Jirous) Allen.2,3
Census1880*	Martha and Thomas appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Marion Twp., Lincoln Co., Kansas, enumerated 17 June 1880, as 22 yo Thomas J & 22 yo Martha Allen. Their 0.4 yo son Edward was listed as living with them.4
Census1900	Martha and Thomas appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Fremont, Dodge Co., Nebraska, enumerated 1 June 1900, as 43 yo Thomas J & 43 yo Martha Allen. Their 20 yo son Edward and 10 yo daughter Grace Allen were listed as living with them, as well as 5 boarders.5

Marriage*	She married James Alston Allen, son of Abel Willis Allen and Arabelila Torian Dunkerson, circa 1882. Married 18 years with 10 born and 4 living in the 1900 census. My preliminary research suggests their children were 3 unnamed (bd 1882-1900), Bertha B (1884-b1900), Hetta E (1888-b1900), Ocie J (c1890- ), Thomas B (1893-1960, m. Pearl S Gross), Gertrude "Gertie" M (c1896-a1940, m. W O Markee), Gladys (c1899- ), and Abel Willis (1904-1963, m. Grace Frances Sollars) Allen. Tom and Abel have Find A Grave memorials. Bertha and Hetta have Missouri Births and Christenings, 1827-1935 records. Gertrude has an obit at Illinois, Mildred Hooper Obituary Collection, ca. 1959-1981.3,1,4,5

Marriage*	He married Hettie Arabella Allen, daughter of Abel Willis Allen and Arabelila Torian Dunkerson, before 1886, date based on birthyear of eldest child listed by Find A Grave. Six born with 6 living in the 1900 census. My preliminary research suggests their children were Donald Artle (1886-1977, m. Margaret Christina Cook), Dawson Humphrey (1889-1942, m. Juanita Lnu), Flossie Elizabeth (1890-1952, m. James Thomas Cook), Alvin (1892-1892), Alma Ursa (1892-1982, m. Virgil L. Matthew), Lura Artha (1894-1950, m. Carl E Linder), and Velma Adyline (1898-1998, m1 Carl Emil Seberg, m2 Edward Gomber, m3 Joseph Harold Babbit) Killough. Sources for these children not cited in parental tags include FSTrees for all of them, Find A Grave memorials for Donald, Dawson, Flossie, Lura, and Velma. There's also a marriage record for Donald and a death record for Dawson.1,3,4,5

Marriage*	He married Emily Lee Dunkerson, daughter of Thomas Dunkerson and Sarah Catherine Palmer, on 15 November 1849 in Harrison Co., Missouri. Find A Grave shows 13 Nov and 15 Nov in Livingston Co., MO. The record in MO Genealogy Trails seems more reliable.4,5
Census1850*	Horace and Emily appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dist. 27, Harrison Co., Missouri, enumerated 4 November 1850, as 23 yo Alston & 21 yo Emily Allen. Emily's birthstate is indexed as NY but it's pretty clearly KY.3
