Marriage*	He married Mary Ellen "Ella" Myers, daughter of James Hanna Myers and Minerva Ann "Mary" Britton, on 6 February 1876 in Madison Co., Illinois. License dated 04 Feb.1,2
Occupation*	Archibald was a barber between 1890 and 1920 at New Douglas, Madison Co., Illinois. The date range is approximate based on having lived in New Douglas 'nearly 40 years' and having 'followed the occupation of a barber'.4
Death*	Archibald died on 12 February 1933 at Masonic Home in Sullivan, Moultrie Co., Illinois, at age 82. His IL Deaths & Stillbirths record says East Nelson Township. Google Maps shows Sullivan about 1 miles west of the township.3,4
Burial*	He was buried, Madison Co., Illinois. His IL Deaths & Stillbirths record says he's buried at Vincent Cemetery, Clove Fort, Madison Co., Illinois. Clove Fort doesn't get any hits. There's a Vincent Cemetery in Alhambra, Madison County, with three of the Fwolk surname buried there, but no Archibald. His obit says he's to be buried at New Douglas Cemetery, Madison County. He's not there in the Find A Grave listing. A search of Cemeteries and Tombstone Inscriptions of Madison County, Illinois, Vol. 5, produces the same three Fwolk names as Find A Grave for Vincent Cemetery, no place called New Douglas Cemetery.3,4
ResearchNote*	Research Note of 16 June 2020 re Myers-Foulk & related marriages. Ella's m1 to Archibald Foulk is confirmed by the 1880 census in which Mary is living with her parents & younger siblings, has the surname Fulk and a 2 yo son James L Fulk. Mary is listed as married. The IL County Marriages record gives Archibald's and Mary's names in full but unfortunately does not mention their parents' names.      Ella's m2 to Thomas Russell is confirmed by IL County Marriages in which Mary's father is shown as James H Meyer.      Ella's m3 to Medor Shappey is confirmed by KS County Marriages which lists her as Ellen Russell. Less than a year after the marriage the 1910 census confirms married less than a year and the birthstates of Ella and both her parents.      Find A Grave also supports both the Russell and Shappey marriages.2,1,5,6
ResearchNote	Research Note of 16 June 2020 re Myers-Foulk censuses. Arch & Ella were married in 1876. Here's what I've found,      1870: Ella is 12 yo and living with her parents. Arch is 19 yo and living with his parents.      1880: Ella is 22 yo, married, living with her parents and her 2 yo son James L Fulk. I've not found Arch yet.      1900: Ella is missing. Arch is 49 yo, widower(!) living with his parents and sister Evaline.      1910: Ella is 50 yo and living with Medor in Bourbon, KS. Arch is 59 yo, single(!) living with his younger brother Crawford and sister Evaline.      1920: Ella died in 1916. Arch is a widower living with his sister Evaline.      Except for playing fast and loose with marital status the ages and residences all make sense.

Census1880	James appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Olive Twp., Madison Co., Illinois, as 2 yo grandson James L Fulk in the household of James Hanna Myers and Minerva Ann "Mary" Britton; as 54 yo James H & 48 yo Mary Myers.3
Marriage*	He married Rhoda Booth on 15 February 1898 in Bronson, Bourbon Co., Kansas. My preliminary research suggests their children were Gladys Foulk (c1900-a1964, m. Henderson, res. Beaverton, OR 1965), Charles Archibald Foulk (1902-1971, m. Eula Irene Culbertson c1928, res. Twin Falls, ID 1965), Lucille E Foulk (c1907-a1964, m. Heyer, res. Buhl, ID 1965), James Edward "Ed" Foulk (1916-1988, m. Una E Lnu, res. Twin Falls, ID 1965), and Harlan R Foulk (c1919-a1964, res. Eugene, OR 1965).      The KS County Marriages record says they were married in Allen County. I'll stick with the obit for now since the informant was likely Rhoda.5,2

Census1910	James and Rhoda appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Osage Twp., Allen Co., Kansas, enumerated 28 April 1910, as 32 yo farmer Lenard & 28 yo wife Rhoda Foulk. Their children 9 yo Gladis, 7 yo Charly and 2 yo Lucile Foulk were listed as living with them.6
Lawsuit*	James filed a lawsuit against Thomas Louis Myers, George Wilson Myers, Florence Virinda Myers, Cora A. Myers and Ida May Myers on 25 July 1917 in District Court of Allen County, Kansas, re partition of some property in Moran, Kansas. Others named defendants were Lewis, Lawrence and Howard Myers, Pearl Walsh, Edw A Russell, Lulu Cameron, Alva, Nellie, Harlan, Ollie and Ira Moore.7
Residence*	James and Rhoda resided at RFD 2 in Moran, Allen Co., Kansas, on 12 September 1918.8

Their children 19 yo Gladys E, 17 yo Charles A, 12 yo Lucille E, 3.7 yo James E, and 0.11 yo Harlan R Foulk were listed as living with them.9
Census1930	James and Rhoda appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., Idaho, enumerated 8 April 1930, as 52 yo drayman J Len & 48 yo seamstress Rhoda Foulk. Their children 22 yo Lucille, 13 yo Edward, 11 yo Harlan, and 27 yo Charles Foulk were listed as living with them, as well as Charles' wife 21 yo Eula Foulk.10
Residence*	James resided in Idaho on 13 February 1933. This is odd. Archibald's obit says his unnamed wife and son lived in Idaho in 1933. Mary Ellen Myers Foulk Russell Shappey had been married three times and died back in 1916, so it appears as if Arch remarried at some point.11
Census1940	James and Rhoda appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Twin Falls, Twin Falls Co., Idaho, enumerated 12 April 1940, as 61 yo garden work teamster James L & 58 yo seamstress Roda Faulk. Their 23 yo bookkeeper son Edwin Faulk was listed as living with them, as well as Edwin's 27 yo Una Faulk.12
Death*	James died on 18 May 1965 at Skyview Manor Nursing Home in Twin Falls, Idaho, at age 87.2

Wife Anna and sons George and John were probably the other persons enumerated. Anna's father Daniel is five lines above and brother David four lines above.3
Census1850*	Matthew and Anna appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dist. 11, Marion Co., Illinois, enumerated 13 September 1850, as 35 yo farmer Mathew & 35 yo Ann Waggner. Their children George W., John W., Mary Elizabeth, Louisa J. and Edmond Wilson were listed as living with them. Anna's brother George, wife Catherine and two children are three doors below.4
Death*	Matthew died in October 1852 in Johnson Co., Missouri, at age 37.2

Wagoner, her husband- his parents are Matthew & Anna (Myers) Wagoner. Both sets of parents were born in Kentucky and died in Missouri. Bell's Find A Grave entry explains relationships as follows, Sarah Isabella Wagoner married her first cousin John W. Wagoner. Her parents are Ephraim & Luiza J. (Shields) Wagoner and John W. Wagoner, her husband- his parents are Matthew & Anna (Myers) Wagoner. Both sets of parents were born in Kentucky and died in Missouri. Her father Ephraim Wagoner and his father Matthew Wagoner were brothers.1

Dollarhide's Map Guide to the U.S. Federal Censuses, 1790-1920 shows Wythe County extending into present-day West Virginia in 1790, but by 1800 it had been taken over by Tazewell County and Wyeth County had shrunk to more-or-less its present-day boundaries. Find A Grave's date is 23 March. Her birth record says 26 March but that could be a christening date.2,3,4
Marriage*	She married Edmond Wilson Wagoner, son of Matthew W. Wagoner and Anna Myers, on 7 September 1873 in Lafayette Co., Missouri. The 1910 census shows married 38 years with 12 born and 12 living. This jives well with other records.5,1,6

License date is 26 June, the marriage on 07 July. The second record is for the license only and spells names a bit differently. Forrest Francis Lewis), William Henry Harriman (1900-1982, m. Mary L Kyle), Sarah Elnora "Ella" Harriman (1903-2001, m. Gilbert Dry), Rose Lee Harriman (1906-1985, m. Clifford L Lantz 1923), Earl Providence Harriman (1908-1994, m. Leota May Lnu), Ethel Irene Harriman (1911-2008, m. First is for the town of Crescent and reads, Wagoner, John, 85. Services were Friday. The other is for town of Mulhall and reads, Wahoner, John. Services were Friday. Crescent is southwest of Mulhall about 18 miles by road. I suspect he died in Crescent, lived in Mulhall, and both records are for the same person. 06 Feb was a Tuesday so a Friday funeral makes sense.9,10,11
