The Albany Democrat-Herald obit says Johnson County. One Find A Grave memorial (no. 91026755) says Adams, Gage County. The other (no. 8995171) makes no mention of location.1,4,5

Birth*	Leonidas was born on 23 March 1877 in Indiana, s/o Emmet Loren Kennedy & Martha Ann Freeman. He occasionally shows up in the sources as Lon or Alonzo. Whether the name Alonzo comes before or after Leroy is unclear but it likely is one of his middle names.1,4,2
Marriage*	He married Leora A. Downey, daughter of Horace A. Downey and Hattie Sarah Gillingham, on 26 January 1898 in Rushville, Rush Co., Indiana. License dated 25 Jan, return dated 22 Mar 1898. The 1900 & 1910 censuses confirm married 2 & 12 years respectively with 1 born & 1 living in both. My preliminary research suggests their only child was Weldon Leonidas Kennedy (1900-1930, m. Ruth Helen Bennett 1927 in Los Angeles).5,6,7,8

Occupation*	Leonidas was a postal clerk between 1910 and 1947. Date range approximate. He's a mail carrier in the 1910 census and his obit says he was a postal clerk for 37 years. The obit is likely only referring to his live in California so the date range is probably longer than shown.10

SS Apps says Columbus, but in parentheses is written Connersville.3,4,1

There's a 54 yo divorced Leora B Kennedy in Los Angeles in the 1930 census but her birthstate and her father's are wrong. It's odd that Leonidas' obit makes no mention of her at all, suggesting a possible divorce.
