Hey Eric,
You and I have a common set of 4g grandparents in Andrew Donaldson (Findagrave #163 19 024) and Elizabeth Armstrong Donaldson. I am happy to accept any genealogy that might give me a clue as to their ancestry. Their daughters, Sarah and Louisa, are our 3g grandmothers. Your Sarah Donaldson Wilson moved to Texas from TN and my Louisa Ann Donaldson White ended up in Pontotoc, MS from Cherokee Co., AL. (A huge age difference: Sarah b. abt 1793/Louisa b. 1816) I was born in Pontotoc in 1946. I am now in Hickory Flat, MS, a county or two over from Pontotoc.
Andrew Donaldson/Elizabeth Armstrong
Louisa Donaldson/William Carter White
William Andrew White/Nancy Jane Wilson
James Carter White/Verna Violet Lowry
Linda Ethel White/W. E. Dowdy
Lora Ethel Dowdy/R. Swords (divorced when I was very young)
Sandra Lynn Coley (stepfather's name) m. 1)Wilhite 2)Ballard
I have been trying to send you, for your forms, the specifics of my family genealogist who gave me the info on children and spouses that I posted on Genforum. I will have to take some time out and do some work on this crazy computer before I can email more.
However, I have a chart, and, if it's correct and we are both 4g grandchildren of Andrew/Elizabeth, then we are FIFTH COUSINS!
Have a happy day!
Sandra

Subject: genealogy misc
Good morning Sandra,
I’ve been working through McKee/Richmond land records the last few days. It got me wondering – why did I send you an FGS for James Richmond? I know you’re interested in Donaldson, but how are we connected if at all? Can you show me your descendancy from any common persons so we can figure how we’re related?
Also, I recall saying I’d send you info on the sons & daughter of Isaac McKee & Nancy Janet Richmond. But is that something you’re actually interested in, or would some other line be more valuable?
These questions just to avoid unnecessary work on my part and buildup of more extraneous info on yours. Thanks.
